Supply chain establishment · India & International
We build your supply chain.
Then we hand you the keys.
For manufacturers moving production to best cost country. We prove the part can be made, qualify every supplier against your bill of materials, and deliver a validated first article. Then you own the chain outright.
Build and transfer. No permanent intermediary, no margin on your parts.
THE METHOD
Four Stages.
A defined exit.
Most firms in this market either take a permanent margin on every part you buy, or hand you a strategy document and no supplier. We do neither. We build the chain, prove it with a real part, and transfer it.
01. Feasibility
Can it be made here, and where?
We assess whether your product can be manufactured to specification in the best cost country for it. Market depth, supplier capability, tooling requirement, landed cost and realistic volume. The output is a decision with numbers behind it, before you commit capital.
02. Supplier Development
Every line of BOM, assigned
We break your bill of materials down line by line and build the supplier base against it. Identification, audit, capability assessment, tooling, sampling and commercial terms, with a second source qualified wherever a part is critical or long-lead.

03. First Article
A real part, to your drawing
We do not close on a report. We close on a physical part, produced, inspected and validated against your specification, with documentation, inspection records and traceability alongside it.
04. The Last Stage
The Handover
Supplier relationships, contracts, drawings, audit records and cost data transfer to you directly. You deal with your suppliers, on your terms, at their prices.
We are out of the transaction from here. No ongoing margin on anything you buy through the chain.
Where We Work?
Parts that are engineered, certified, and consequential when they fail.
We are not a trading house and we do not source commodity goods. Our work sits where bills of materials run deep, drawings carry tolerances, qualification takes time, and a bad part reaching the field is a serious event.
Sectors
We work where sourcing is an engineering problem. Certification, material traceability and supplier qualification decide these projects long before price does.
Hydro
Turbine and generator components, large fabrications, governor and control assemblies. Heavy, low-volume, high-tolerance work where few suppliers genuinely qualify and each has to be assessed on real capacity rather than a capability brochure.
Clean & Renewable Energy
Battery enclosures and pack hardware, electrolyser stack and hydrogen system components, balance of plant for wind and solar. Young supply chains scaling faster than their qualification cycles, where choosing the right supplier early sets the cost curve.
Oil & Gas
Downhole tools, completion systems and well construction equipment. Pressure-rated parts carrying API certification, material traceability and test records, where a failure downhole is measured in days of lost production.
Industrial
Motors and drives, robotics and automation hardware, precision machined parts and sub-assemblies. High-mix engineering-to-order work where the bill of materials runs deep and every line needs its own qualified source.
Process & Chemicals
Pumps, valves, heat exchangers and skid-mounted assemblies. Materials of construction drive both cost and lead time here, so specification review and supplier metallurgy capability are settled before the first quote is requested.

What value engineering actually changes?
-
Design. Changes that remove cost without touching form, fit or function.
-
Material. Substitution validated against what the local supply base can genuinely process, not what the original specification assumed.
-
Process. Methods matched to the chosen supplier's equipment rather than inherited from the original plant.
-
Structure. Part consolidation where the bill of materials carries avoidable complexity.
It’s all about a dialogue
A few words from our clients.
Before this we were negotiating on quoted prices, which is to say we were negotiating blind. The should-cost work on our PCB and sheet metal parts gave us the cost structure underneath the quotes, down to material and process. It changed how we buy those parts entirely.
Digital Dynamics
We brought SCM Connexions in on automation design across a range of client applications and sectors, and the work held up in each of them. What stood out was how little we had to manage it. They understood the application, asked the right questions early, and delivered designs our clients could build from.
Rapid Robotics
We were committing serious capital to a lithium-ion battery recycling plant, in a sector we had not operated in before, so we needed an honest feasibility study rather than an encouraging one. SCM Connexions covered the process, the site, the financials and the environmental compliance, and were straight with us about where the risks sat.
