As a Lead System Engineer specializing in Battery Technologies, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation in the development, integration, and optimization of cutting-edge battery systems. This pivotal role involves orchestrating cross-functional collaboration to ensure the seamless implementation of battery technologies across diverse applications, with a steadfast commitment to meeting and surpassing performance, safety, and reliability standards.

 

Responsibilities:
Battery System Design and Development:
Spearhead the design process for advanced battery systems, meticulously considering parameters such as energy density, power density, thermal management, and safety.
Collaborate seamlessly with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to seamlessly integrate battery systems into various applications.

 

Performance Optimization:
Conduct comprehensive analysis and simulations to optimize battery system performance, efficiency, and durability.
Implement innovative strategies to enhance energy storage, charging, and discharging capabilities.

 

Collaboration and Communication:
Foster seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and product managers.
Communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

 

Research and Development:
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in battery technologies and actively contribute to the company's research and development endeavors.
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that have the potential to enhance battery system performance.


Documentation:

Maintain meticulous documentation of battery system designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

-Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
-Proven experience in battery system design and development, with a focus on lithium-ion and other advanced battery technologies.
-Strong knowledge of battery management systems (BMS), thermal management, and safety protocols.
-Proficiency in simulation tools and software used for battery system analysis.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
-Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to battery systems.
-Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

Experience:
Typically, 5+ years of experience in battery system engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in a leadership or project management role is a plus.
